Alpe d'Huez is a historic land of downhill mountain biking, the essence of which can be found in the 30 km or so of the legendary Megavalanche, from the snows of the glacier to the small passages over the streams.

With its thirty-six signposted mountain bike trails, Alpe d'Huez is at the heart of one of the largest mountain bike areas in France, an immense playground stretching over 2600 meters in altitude, from the summit of the Pic Blanc at 3330 meters to the edge of the Bourg d'Oisans valley.
