Gorges de Sarenne walk via Le Gua

One-way time: 2h
Itinerary to reach the village of Huez, passing near the Brandes archaeological site, then down into the Gorges to follow the Sarenne stream to Huez. Discover a pretty Roman bridge.
Return to the station by shuttle or Huez Express (free).
- High boots are preferable to sneakers on mountain paths.
- Bring rain gear (weather changes quickly in the mountains), sunglasses, a hat or cap, sunscreen, a bottle of water (or baby bottle) and a snack.
- Don't go too high in the mountains with a baby under the age of 1 (risk of ear infections).
- Stay well hydrated (especially children)
- Choose age-appropriate walks (duration, altitude difference)
- Take regular breaks

- Find out about the itinerary
- Protected plants, wildlife and minerals are all part of the landscape. Please respect them.
- Take all your garbage with you. Recycling bins are available in the resort.
- We recommend that you keep your dogs on a leash.
- During your hikes, you may come across cow pens. Please remember to close them after you have passed.
- You may come across herds of grazing sheep. Protection dogs are there to protect them. They are not trained to be aggressive, but they are trained to be deterrents.
