Soccer – outdoor pitch

Description

The synthetic soccer pitch is Fifa-certified to the full satisfaction of professional footballers and future young hopefuls wishing to train at Alpe d'Huez.

Welcome to the resort's highest and craziest soccer pitch! Here, at an altitude of almost 1,900 metres, you can literally play with your head in the clouds, with the marmots as your spectators. But be careful: if you shoot a penalty a little too hard over the goal, the ball flies straight into the mountains, and it's off on a real treasure hunt to find it! What's more, as the mountain air tires you out faster, ten minutes of running here will turn you into a superhero with a heart rate of steel. So strap on your crampons, prepare your best dribbles for the snow-covered peaks and try not to knock the ball onto a chairlift!

The surface (105 x 68) can be played either by teams of 11 (on a full pitch) or by teams of 7 (on two halves of the pitch).

Monday to Friday, 11am to 12pm and 2pm to 7pm. Weekends 3pm to 6pm (depending on weather and events).
