Just 1h30 from Grenoble, in the heart of Isère, Alpe d'Huez is one of the largest mountain playgrounds in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region. This complete and varied ski area welcomes families and keen skiers alike!
With 250 km of slopes, there's something for everyone:
Beginners: dedicated areas, wide, safe runs for safe learning.

The Tunnel, a unique technical challenge after its emblematic underground passage.
Thanks to a modern network of lifts, access to the summits is fluid, fast and comfortable.
The resort continues to evolve with Altitude 3300, a major project to optimize the high-altitude experience.

Information: Storm Benjamin on the night of October 22/23 damaged the Pic Blanc cable car. Since then, our teams and partners have been doing their utmost to repair the lift as quickly as possible, while guaranteeing a safe reopening for everyone, which remains our top priority. Alpine skiing at 3000 m will remain accessible, as will the Sarenne piste via the Marmottes 3 lift. Reopening scheduled for January 30

Access to Alpe d'HuezBy train
The nearest train station is Grenoble. From Paris, Lyon or Marseille, reach Grenoble by TGV or TER, then take a bus or cab to the resort.
By bus
There are regular bus services to the resort:
T75 Grenoble → Bourg d'Oisans (≈ 1h30)
T76 Bourg d'Oisans → Alpe d'Huez, reinforced in winter/summer
Transaltitude (winter): express service Grenoble → Alpe d'Huez
Blablacar Bus: link Lyon → Alpe d'Huez on Saturdays
By car
Access via the A480 then the D1091. The 21-turn climb offers a unique panorama of the Oisans.
By plane
Grenoble Alpes-Isère (100 km): regular flights + Actibus shuttles to Grenoble and Ben's Bus transfers to the resort.
Lyon-Saint Exupéry (150 km): wide choice of flights + connections to Oisans.
Geneva: bus/train connections to Grenoble and then to the resort.
