With the Comité de jumelage and the Alpe d'Huez cultural department presents :

2 pm to 3:30 pm "The famous invasion of the bears in Sicily" - Ages 10 and up

It all begins when Tonio, the son of the king of the bears, is kidnapped by hunters in the mountains of Sicily... Taking advantage of a harsh winter that threatens his people with famine, the king decides to invade the plain where men live. With the help of his army and a magician, he succeeds in defeating the men and finally finds Tonio. But he soon realizes that the bear people are not meant to live in the land of men...
Adaptation of the children's novel by Dinon Buzzati -1945-.

After stealing a necklace, a young thug, Walter, and his accomplice, Francesca, join a convoy of women workers heading for the rice fields. Recognized by the police, Walter is forced into hiding, while Francesca manages to pass herself off as one of the women leaving for work. But Silvana, one of the workers, takes an interest in their story, to his and Walter's misfortune.

Pietro is a city boy, Bruno the last child to live in a forgotten village in the Aosta Valley. They strike up a friendship in this hidden corner of the Alps, which serves as their kingdom. Life takes them apart, but never completely. While Bruno remains faithful to his mountain home, Pietro travels the world. On this journey, they experience love and loss, origins and destinies, but above all, a life-and-death friendship.
Based on the novel The Eight Mountains by Paolo Cognetti.
