Balcons du Lac Blanc walk

Access: Grandes Rousses sector
Departure possible from Pic Blanc 2 arrival station, round trip. Enjoy a view of Lac Blanc.

One-way time: 1h15

- High boots are preferable to sneakers on mountain paths.
- Bring rain gear (weather changes quickly in the mountains), sunglasses, a hat or cap, sunscreen, a bottle of water (or bottle), and a snack.
- Don't go too high in the mountains with a baby under the age of 1 (risk of ear infections).
- Stay well hydrated (especially children)
- Choose age-appropriate walks (duration, altitude difference)
- Take regular breaks

- Protected plants, wildlife and minerals are all part of the landscape. Please respect them.
- Take all your garbage with you. Recycling bins are available in the resort.
- We recommend that you keep your dogs on a leash.
- During your hikes, you may come across cow pens. Please remember to close them after you have passed.
- You may come across flocks of grazing sheep. Protection dogs are there to protect them. They are not trained to be aggressive, but they are trained to be deterrents.

Prefer access by shuttle (9am to 11pm: https://www.alpedhuez-resalp.com) or gondola (9am to 5:30pm).
