Around Auris by e-bike

Description

Starting out from Alpe d'Huez, take the spectacular Route de la Roche and its balconies overhanging the Romanche valley. The ride back is via the village of Mizoën and the Col de Sarenne, so it goes without saying that you'll not be short of amazing views!

ITINERARY
From the resort, take the Bourg d'Oisans road to La Garde. Turn left at La Garde towards Auris. This is the route de la roche, overlooking the Romanche valley in spectacular fashion. Continue along the road through all the hamlets of Auris (Les Certs, Les Châtains, etc.) to reach Le Freney d'Oisans on the départementale, climb to the Chambon dam and turn left towards Mizoën, then the Col de Sarenne. Here again, the road is magnificent and wild.
From the pass, return to Alpe d'Huez.

Please note: the Route des Balcons d'Auris (D211.a) is closed on the section between Auris-en-Oisans (La Balme - Le Cert) and La Garde-en-Oisans (L'Armentier) for roadworks until July 10, 2026. Cycle traffic prohibited (from 25/05 to 10/07)
