Haute Route Alps 2017 – Stage 3

The sun shone once again this morning in Serre Chevalier for the start of Stage 3 in the Alps. Toeing the start line in Chantemerle, riders left the valley via the long road up to the Col du Lautaret. Climbs up Col de Sarenne and Alpe d’Huez from Villard-Reculas would ensue for a total of 111km and 3,200m of climbing on the day.

Haute Route Alps 2017 – Stage 4

The majority of Haute Route Alps riders will have accomplished one of their cycling dreams today: riding up the mythical 21 bends of Alpe d’Huez. Rolling down the time trial ramp in Bourg d’Oisans at 20 second intervals, riders took on the 14km ascent of Alpe d’Huez alone and against the clock.
