Comedy film festival

Almost 30 years for the Comedy Film Festival

From Monday, January 19 to Sunday, January 25, 2026, you have an appointment with a week dedicated to comedy and laughter. It is the popular genre in cinema that everyone agrees on! This year, the president of the jury is none other than Audrey Lamy. The jury features Mélanie Doutey, Alison Wheeler, William Lebghil and Baptiste Lecaplain as well.

The Alpe d’Huez International Comedy Film Festival has become a reference since 1997. It brings together on the big screen box-office successes, unknown gems and short formats. Laughter and good humor are guaranteed! The essential of this event? Preview and free films within the limit of available seats! Even if this first cultural event of the year occupies a prominent place for film professionals, the press and partners, the general public has an equally important place. There were more than 20,000 admissions during the last editions with a constant increase in attendance. Comedy – yet still snubbed and little honored – is undoubtedly the most popular and unifying film genre of the 7 art! This situation thus reinforces the Alpe d’Huez Festival to offer free admission for all screenings. It is an extremely rare feature for a Film Festival.

The festival programme is composed of numerous screenings, short and feature films, highly anticipated films, but also discoveries, ‘UFOs’, and spotlight shots on international comedy, or on talents with devastating humor. The screenings take place all day in the rooms of the Palais des Sports & des Congrès de l’Alpe d’Huez. They are free to access within the limits of available seats. Additionally, the film selection is screened as a national preview in the presence of the film teams.

The official program, its schedules, animations and events “100% cinema”, are communicated at the beginning of each year.

Tomorrowland Winter

Tomorrowland Winter, an experience to live at least once in one’s life

In March 2018, Tomorrowland made its first stopover at the Alpe d’Huez. Since then, the winter edition of the world’s largest electronic music festival – also present in Belgium and Brazil – attracts an ever-growing audience every year.

This year, from March 21 to 28, nearly 22,000 festival-goers are expected to enjoy seven stages spread across the entire estate: in the heart of altitude restaurants (Signal 2108, la Folie Douce, Chantebise) as well as in the resort. A novelty will enrich the experience with Orbyz, a brand new scene to discover.

Tomorrowland Winter is not limited to a simple series of concerts: it is an immersive experience combining music, board sports and various activities such as yoga, paragliding or sled dog. During a week at the Alpe d’Huez, nearly 150 international artists succeed each other. Among the headliners announced for 2026 are notably Afrojack, Dimitri Vegas, Charlotte de Witte, Henri PFR, Steve Aoki and Ofenbach, iconic names loyal to the festival.
