1- The view from the Pic Blanc

Culminating at an altitude of 3330m on the Grandes Rousses massif, the Pic Blanc offers an exceptional panorama (ranked 3 stars in the Michelin Guide) on 1/5th of the French territory, as well as the view from the Dome of Lauze des 2 Alpes on the Pic Bayle, the Meije and the Barre des Ecrins.

3- Strike a pose with Roger, the Shepherd

Unusual break guaranteed! Along the track At Roger’s, sit on the XXL bench alongside Roger, the shepherd, and his friends.
📍 Access: from the Romans chairlift or sector 2100 Les Jeux. Take the Télémixte des Jeux or the Pic Blanc cable car (formerly DMC) to access from Alpe d’Huez.

4- A retro nod to old cable cars

On the estate, find the old cabins of the DMC, refurbished and installed to become photo spots as nostalgic as original. A beautiful way to immortalize your passage in a unique vintage setting.

Dug under the snow, the Ice Cave is a must. This season, discover the 120 meters of galleries carved on the theme of the African Safari. The play of light sublimates each sculpture offering vivid photos.

6- The proof that you were there!

At the top of the Signal, just before taking the famous pink track of the Marcel Farm, a mountain cow awaits you with a very pop Alpe d’Huez. This is the perfect spot for a group photo and proof that you have indeed spent your vacation at Alpe d’Huez.

7- A muzzle at the end of the lens

9- Board the famous Telecentre

At the end of the day, board the Télécentre, with its sweet name of ‘salad basket’ which it is rare to encounter again.

10- There is no island in the sun without sea of clouds

Did you know that the island in the sun is the nickname of the Alpe d’Huez? And for good reason, it is not uncommon to find that a sea of clouds has taken up residence a few meters below offering some days totally cut off from the world.
