The geography of the area, with gentle vertical drop at the base of the slopes, is ideal for learning to ski or snowboard on the green runs and the beginners’ area.
The black, expert runs accessible from the top of Pic Blanc and Les Marmottes III cable car, attract thrill seekers and the more technically advanced skiers to experience the maximum vertical drop of 2200m.
You can enjoy an hour and a half of uninterrupted skiing down the 16-km Sarenne run - the longest run in the World – as well as the La Fare or Château Noir runs, without taking ski lifts, thanks to our network of ski runs covering the entire Massif range, providing all the pleasures of longer skiing.

To authentificate their "First 8000", skiers can validate their Pist Map with the ski-lift staff at the start of Pic Blanc cable-car and at the arrival of each of the 4 descents.
Your feat will be recorded by the Pistes Services. You will be awarded a diploma in exchange for 1 € collected for the charitable foundation known as "À chacun son Everest", designed to help children with difficulties to reach their own goals (Charity of Docteur Christine Janin).
There are 2 new beginner runs at the Bergers (the Rif Nel 1 lift and the Poussin 1) and 2 others at the Rondpoint des Pistes (Rope tow-lift des Grenouilles and ski lift Ecole 1) are accessible without a ski pass.
Once you've made some progress, go on to the Premier Trace ski pass which replaces the Altitude 2000 ski pass.
