Snowparks

Two freestyle areas, with a vertical drop of 300 m over a piste 1.5 km long, are dedicated to snowboarders and skiers.

The Beginners, Kids and Freestylers snowpark

The Beginner Area is set along the sector 1 run: boxes and rail-boxes, dorsal protection, whoops, mini-boarder, slide bar area.

The Expert snowpark

The Expert Area is located near the Lac Blanc ski lift. Inside, a playground built to please the boldest of riders: 4 big air jumps with over 10 meters of table, various slide bars, 1 wave rail, 1 c-box, 1 hip, 1 street rail, 2 totems, 1 boardercross, 1 half-pipe (snow permitting).

Boardercross Sharpen your skills in the playground of the skicross World Champion, Ophélie DAVID, our skicross expert.  (reserved for the experienced users) Skicross is inspired by motor bike cross-country races: simultaneous start with 4 or 6 skiers, modules (Banked jumps, Corners, Woops, Big Air, etc...). Skiers or snowboarders learn how to measure your speed, absorb shocks, avoid accidents and reach the bottom as the winner!

Snowkite

Activity offered at the beginnig of march (period during breeze are high in Alpe d'Huez).
During day courses, you can practice on other sites ( col du Lautaret or others... ), depending of weather conditions  .
2 snowkite intructors (Alexandre Roussel and Stéphane Trésal Mauroz) also ski instructors for the French Ski School of Alpe d'Huez.

Conditions

• Minimum level in ski or snowboarding: level 3 (initiation : easier in ski).
• Age minimum: 12 years.
• Licence FFVL (Fédération Française de Vol Libre) obligatory.
• Only individual course, 2 persons maximum

  The activity takes place at "Col de Poutran".

Alpe d'Huez Kiteboarding

Club de kitesurf affilié à la FFVL, ayant pour but de promouvoir et de développer l'activité par le biais d'initiations, de sorties sur différents sites de pratique, de sensibiliser les Kitesurfeurs sur la sécurité liée à l'activité.

Pratique de 3 diciplines au sein du club : le Snowkite (sur neige, en ski ou snowboard), le Kitesurf (sur l'eau le plus pratiqué) ainsi que le Powerkite avec un Mountain-board (en montagne, sur une plage ou dans un champ).
