Alpe d'Huez offers fishing enthusiasts lots of high-altitude lakes (Lac des Bergers, Lac Besson, Lac Noir, Lac Faucille, Lac du Milieu and more) as well as torrents and "rifs" (the Sarenne, Rif Nel, Rif Briant etc).
Fishing will also enable you to discover the mountain environment, in a calm and peaceful setting, full of beauty.

Lake Besson

 :: Lake Besson is open during the fishing season.
:: Open from 6.30 a.m to sunset.

Warning: from 1^st July until 31^th August, the Lac Besson will close at 4.45 p.m every Friday and open again at 6.30 a.m every Saturday morning.

Documents required to fish in this lake:
• national fishing licence;
• fishing permit issued by the Alpe d’Huez Fishing Association (permit valid for a day, a week, a fortnight, a month or the season).

Lake Bergers

  For children ages 6 to 12 years old

:: Open from sunrise to sunset.

Documents required to fish in this lake:
• national fishing licence;
• fishing permit issued by the Alpe d’Huez Fishing Association (permit valid for a day, a week, a fortnight, a month or the season).

Every Mondays, fishing initiation for children from 6 to 12 years old (children with their parents). Only with good weather.

• € 6 for the season + permit/licence.
If you do not have a national permit / licence, there are several sales locations throughout the resort offering several permit options (vacation permit, children's permit etc.).
