SITUATION
As a tourist and climatic resort, Alpe d’Huez, situated 63 kms away  from Grenoble and 163kms from Lyons, enjoys the climate of the South of the  Isère while benefiting from an excellent snow coverage thanks to  its high altitude and its situation in the Northern Alps. The site of Alpe d’Huez offers a magnificent playground where one can find what one’s looking for : sport, relaxation, rest, pure air. The resort, situated at an altitude of 1860 meters in a unique setting, has exceptional equipments to respond to any expectation, ultramodern sports stadium, out-door ice rink, in- and out-door swimming pools, golf, accommodations, shops and quality restaurants. The skiable domain of the Grandes Rousses, connected with resort- villages of Auris, Oz en Oisans, Villard Reculas, Vaujany and La Garde, represents a surface of 10 000 hectares, and extends over 252 km of  alpine ski runs, 50 km of cross-country skiing-skating, 30 km of hikes. At 3330 metres, on the Grandes Rousses Massif, Pic Blanc offers a unique panorama on the Alp’s giants called Mont Blanc, Mont Cervin and la Meije.

gastronomy, mountain specialities, private evenings, buffets at the bottom of  the enlightened stadium and on sunny terraces at noon. Free choice of the caterer.
