The Sport and Convention Centre of Alpe d'Huez has a wall-climbing covering an area of 180 m².
14 climbing routes starting from 5a to 6c of 12 m high.

Workshops for children

• Workshops "Sun stages": Monday-Friday activity courses, for children age 6 to 18, from 2:30 to 6 p.m. A different activity everyday

• Workshops "Mini Cat's": Multi-activity courses for children aged 3 to 6 years old: 10.00am to 12.00am and 14.30pm to 18.00pm

• Workshops "Stages Sport Challenge": Multi-activity athletic tournaments for children 8-12 years old. Available Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday afternoons.

Outdoor Climbing

• Escalade Outdoor: Alpe d’Huez features 150 climbing routes on the cliffs of Lac Besson (2200m), exposed west/south-west.
Via Ferrata : 2 itineraries of different levels are accessible starting from the Sarenne gorges.

Club d'Escalade

The club proposes to all persons, children and adults who love to climb, practice (initiation and improvement) of climbing and mountain in all its forms (mountaineering, ice-fall, ski mountaineering, hiking, stages of escalation ,...).

Activités proposées : mountaineering (activity and training), ice climbing (activity and training), climbing school (wall-climbing and natural site), climbing for leasure (training), ice trekking (activity and training), mountain trekking (activity and training), Alpine skiing, mountain skiing (activity and training), via ferrata.
Age minimum : 6 ans

The club participate to the organisation of a major sport event: Symphon'Ice. The concept is to create a friendly gathering around the ice-fall and dry-tooling in Alpe d'Huez.
