Poutran track
Both progression and performance are achieved together here: One 2,788ft circuit with a 13ft river sand track with a maximum slope of 9%, 4 curves with a 131ft minimum radius. Obstacles and a 1200yd² arena for training ensure a complete, tailored approach for a wide range of disciplines.
This training centre is open to race horses: race, endurance and show.
Veterinary Studies
Veterinary studies are unanimous: 3 weeks at altitude increase a horse’s red corpuscle count by 1.5 million.
Result: reinforced physical capacity and improved endurance.
This is why Alpe d’Huez has conceived this oxigenation site for horses, which is unique in Europe.
